Happy Summer Solstice from Newport, Rhode Island!

Welcome aboard SUMMER! Today is the Summer Solstice for the Northern Hemisphere. The summer solstice began at 6:51 a.m. EDT on June 21, according to Almanac.com, officially ringing in summer. The date brings the year’s longest stretch of daylight.  Today we will have over 15 hours of daylight!
After a long, cold, snowy winter, we say bring on the sunshine and boat shoes weather!  Spend some of those extra daylight hours by sailing in Newport, Rhode Island.  Join 12 Meter Charters this weekend to celebrate the return of summer!
